Types of Braces

We can help you to a beautiful smile… and it’ll be our secret!

Forget the 'traintracks' of the past, today’s braces can be completely invisible, and won't interfere with your teeth as other treatments do

We all appreciate a beautiful smile and the inner confidence it brings. Now there is a new, healthier way to achieve the smile you deserve. And it’s invisible!

Many of us have seen the TV makeover programmes where patients have their smile created by using expensive veneers or crowns on the teeth. However, this involves drilling the teeth to create space for the ‘false tooth’.

An alternative, healthier way to straighten the teeth is to have braces fitted. In the past, these have been ugly, silver devices mainly seen on children; or tooth-coloured braces seen on more and more adults. Unfortunately they are still fitted on the outside of the teeth and are clearly visible to others.

Now, there is an alternative, and it is so simple. Braces are fitted to the inside of the teeth and are therefore totally invisible to others.

And that’s not all, the teeth move significantly faster with these invisible braces compared to the conventional braces.

Treatment can range from simple straightening of the front teeth to complete correction of the upper and lower teeth as well as the bite.

The brace may only need to be worn for as little as six months and the beauty is that no one need know that you are wearing one.

At Whitetree Specialist Centre, our specialists in orthodontics can now offer these invisible braces to the majority of patients. Our specialists can show you pictures of numerous patients who have been treated with these appliances and give an overview of their experiences.

Remember: not all orthodontists are familiar with this type of brace.
