A Postcard from....Korea
Sitting down to a traditional Korean meal & Ian at the Catholic Medical Centre.
In November, Ian presented a table clinic on Self Ligating
Brackets at the Korean Assoc. Orthodontists annual meeting
in Soul.
After this, a series of lectures was given at several different
Korean Universities covering Lingual Orthodontics and
Self Ligating Brackets. The Samsung Medical Centre was
the most impressive, the sheer size and all the
technology that was present was way ahead
of anything seen in the UK.
The lasting impression of Korea is how friendly and accommodating
the people are, I have never known anyone to be so welcoming
and hospitable. The other memory is of fermented cabbage,
Kim Chi – its strong enough to blow your socks off!
